Jasmine Rae Golden Guitar Nominated For 'Female Artist of The Year'.
Jasmine Rae was today nominated for 'Female Artist of the Year' for the 2012 Country Music Awards of Australia to be held in Tamworth on January 28, 2012. It's her second nomination in this category at the Golden Guitar Awards.

‘I Faked It’ is the hot new single from Jasmine Rae’s new ARIA Mainstream Top 40 and ARIA Australian Country #1 Album, Listen Here. It’s officially serviced to media this Monday.
It follows the album’s two #1 country radio and music video hits, ‘Hunky Country Boys’, and ‘I’ll Try Anything’ featuring Joe Nichols.
The music video for ‘I Faked It’ was directed and produced by former Tropfest winners Conti Bros Films. ‘I Faked It’ has been an overwhelming fan favorite (particularly females of all ages) who have already purchased the Listen Here album and/or have seen Jasmine perform the track live. Jasmine Rae’s light hearted and not so serious approach to ‘I Faked It’ gives this great up-tempo radio track an endearing and fun tone.
In fact, following Jasmine Rae’s performance of the track during the Alan Jackson and Joe Nichols tours, many country radio stations added ‘I Faked It’ to their playlists months in advance of this official service.

Jasmine Rae has scored another national airplay #1 result, this time with special guest Joe Nichols with 'I'll Try Anything'.
The track has spent two weeks at the top of The Music Network's National Country Airplay Chart.
This result follows the #1 postion for 'Hunky Country Boys', which also topped the CMC Top 30 Countdown.

US country artist Ashton Shepherd has covered Jasmine Rae’s hit single ‘Look It Up’. The new version is approaching the Top 20 on the Billboard Country Radio Charts.
Shepherd’s release has sparked interest in the US for Jasmine’s original version… which now has over 110,000 views on Youtube and is obtaining hundreds of single downloads a week on US iTunes.

Jasmine Rae has topped the ARIA Australian Country Artists album sales chart for the first time with her new album, Listen Here. Even more significantly, the album debuted at #35 on the ARIA Top 50 (all genres) - the best first week result for an Australian country album so far this year.
Country music fans have responded in a big way to Jasmine Rae’s recent performances at the sold out Alan Jackson tour and the main stage at CMC Rocks The Hunter.
Listen Here features the #1 single ‘Hunky Country Boys’ and the new single ‘I’ll Try Anything’ – a duet with US superstar Joe Nichols.

Miranda Lambert Cancels Australian Visit
Due to severe upper respiratory infection, Miranda Lambert is unable to join country superstar, Alan Jackson (plus Jasmine Rae), on his Australian Tour, beginning this week. Lambert performed this weekend in the States, but her condition worsened and by Sunday, her physician ordered complete rest.

Alan Jackson Likes Jasmine Rae's Music A WHOLE LOT!
Jasmine Rae will open for US Superstar Alan Jackson at Rod laver Arena in Melbourne, Acer Arena in Sydney and for three shows at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, and Alan couldn't be happier! He's a big fan of Jasmine Rae's music.
In yesterday's Sunday Telegraph, Jackson was quoted as saying...
"I don't know Jasmine yet, but I heard her music and she sounds real good to me. I like her songs a whole lot".
CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and recent GRAMMY winner Miranda Lambert will also perform at all the shows.
Jasmine Rae's new album Listen Here is released on the night of the first show in Melbourne on March 4.

US Superstar Joe Nichols To Appear On Jasmine Rae's New Album Listen Here
US country superstar Joe Nichols will appear on Jasmine Rae’s new album Listen Here which is released on March 4. The pair have recorded the duet ‘I’ll Try Anything’. Rae and Nichols first toured together in Australia back in 2009.
Joe Nichols current single ‘The Shape I’m In’ is this week’s CMC Country Pick and he has just released his Greatest Hits album through Universal Music. He’ll also be in Australia shortly to appear at CMC Rocks The Hunter.
He has recorded seven studio albums and has three #1 Billboard country singles to his name.
"I'll Try Anything is a beautiful song about heartache and the things it can make you feel and do. This is my first duet and the most challenging song I’ve ever recorded”, says Jasmine Rae.
“Thanks Joe Nichols for coming into the studio and pouring your stunning, smooth, caramel vocals all over this track.”

'Hunky Country Boys' has this week gone to the top of the country singles charts! The first single from the upcoming album, Listen Here is at the top of The Music Network's National Country Airplay chart this week.
'Hunky Country Boys' is the second #1 radio single for Jasmine. The other being 'Look It Up' in late 2008. She also has two CMC #1's... 'Country Singer' and 'Look It Up'.
'Hunky Country Boys' is also now at #5 on the CMC Top 30 countdown... up from #7 last week.

Jasmine Rae To Open For Alan Jackson & Miranda Lambert Next March in Australia
On the weekend it was announced that US country superstar Alan Jackson would tour Australia for the first time, with Miranda Lambert in support. It was also announced that Jasmine Rae will open all the tour shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The tour begins on Friday March 4 at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, the same day as Jasmine's upcoming album release, before heading north to Sydney for a performance at Acer Arena on Monday 7th March. Jackson, Lambert and Rae then take on Queensland in not one, but two performances at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Thursday 10th March and Friday 11th March.

Jasmine To Start Recording Album #2 In September!
Jasmine Rae will head to Nashville and go into the studio in September to record the follow-up to her ARIA nominated debut album, Look It Up.
She will re-unite with Grammy nominated Nashville based Australian producer Mark Moffatt, who she recorded eight of her debut album tracks with.
As well as touring with Lee Kernaghan throughout 2010, Jasmine has colaborated with some of the best writers from the US and Australia.
The new album will be released in March 2010.
