2013 CMA Global Artist of the Year Jasmine Rae has teamed up with US Country Superstar Kellie Pickler to release 'Bad Boys Get Me Good.'

And a music video will follow very shortly!

'Bad Boys Get Me Good' is the third single from 2014 CMC Female Artist of the Year Jasmine Rae's ARIA and multiple Golden Guitar nominated album, If I Want To.

Jasmine Rae and Kellie Pickler were introduced to each other by Luke Wooten, the Nashville-based producer for both artists. When Wooten suggested Pickler as a duet partner, Rae leapt at the opportunity.

'Bad Boys Get Me Good' features Jasmine and Kellie trading verses on a song about a woman's love for the wrong kind of man. The song was written by Jasmine Rae, Jamie Floyd and Shannon Wright.

“I love Kellie’s attitude and her accent. She’s such a charismatic performer. Hearing her sing a song that I co-wrote is a real honour," says Jasmine Rae.

Pickler is equally complimentary about her friend and duet partner.

"She's an amazing singer and songwriter. She's a powerhouse," said Pickler in a recent interview with Country Capital News.

While having been acknowledged for some time as a premier vocalist and performer, Jasmine Rae is now being recognised as one of Australia's most gifted songwriters, with her original songs like 'If I Want To', 'Just Don't Ask Me How I Am' and 'First Song' capturing the attention of music fans and industry peers. If I Want To was nominated for an ARIA Award and Jasmine Rae was nominated for three Golden Guitar awards in the major categories of Album of the Year, Single of the Year and Female Artist of the Year.

And in March, music fans voted Jasmine Rae 2014 CMC Female Oz Artist of Year. Over 380,000 votes were cast for this year's awards by Australian Country Music fans.

The album's first singles, the title track 'If I Want To' and 'Just Don't Ask Me How I Am' both went all the way to #1 on the Australian Country Radio and Music Video Charts, taking Jasmine Rae's tally of #1 hits to seven. In fact, 'If I Want To' spent three weeks at the top of the radio charts and a month at the top of the CMC Top 30 Countdown.

Kellie Pickler is one of country music's biggest names. With over 1.7 million Facebook fans and one million Twitter followers, she is an undisputed superstar of the genre. As well as having five Top #20 Billboard Country Hits, multiple CMA nominations and three CMT Music Award wins, Pickler is a popular television personality appearing regularly on programs like The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The View. Pickler was also the winner of the US Version of Dancing With The Stars in 2013 and her on screen talent has now translated to Australian audiences. She is currently co-hosting the CMC Rocks The Hunter TV special which is now airing on CMC.

Kellie Pickler's new album The Woman I Am, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes Country Chart in Australia is out now through ABC Music/Universal Music Australia.

Jasmine Rae played her first hometown show since the release of If I Want To over the weekend at Revolver Bandroom in Melbourne to a packed house, before joining the likes of John Mayer, Elvis Costello and The Doobie Brothers at the Deni Blues & Roots Festival on Sunday!

While Pickler was here, the ladies filmed a music video for that song which will be released next month and they also took the opportunity to perform together.

Jasmine Rae joined Pickler on stage at CMC Rocks The Hunter plus shows at Acer Arena in Sydney and Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne to perform Pickler's hit song 'Best Days Of Your Life' - a track Pickler co-wrote with Taylor Swift.
